Governance and support structures

Finglas West Family Resource Centre is governed by the policies and procedures of Lead Agency, Barnardos Ireland. As the lead agency, Barnardos Ireland are responsible for the day to day management and administration of the project. The Staff team are employed by Barnardos Ireland and the project adopts all policies and procedures in line with Barnardos Ireland.

The project receives annual core funding from Tusla, The Child & Family Agency. Additional funding is applied for from various agencies/organisations on a needs basis to facilitate our work with the community.

Finglas West FRC Steering Group

Established in 2018, Finglas West FRC Steering group consists of representation from 14 local services and 3 independent community representatives. The Steering Group meet 5 times a year and oversee and support the work and progress of Finglas West FRC. Letters of commitment were signed by Member organisations with a Memorandum of Understanding in place between the Lead Agency and Steering Group members.

The Steering group ensure adherence to the Logic Model and give guidance regarding programme implementation. Sub groups are established on a needs led basis to support the different stages of implementation. Currently the Steering group is chaired by Siobhan Greene, Director of Services, Barnardos Ireland.
